Apple iphone 4S is finally out of the box. As expected, it has every feature that you can dream of. I can tell that this is the best iPhone ever, which means that it is the best mobile of the market right now. Apple has incorporated new softwares like Siri and iCloud in iPhone 4S which makes it more closer to a PC. You can imagine it as a Post-PC.

Release Date
iphone 4S has been released in USA, UK and many other countries in October 14, 2011. It will be available in 22 more countries starting October 28. Apple also confirmed that it will be available in more than 70 countries in the beginning of 2012.
Features
Apple has incorporated all the latest features and more in iPhone 4S. The changes are mainly internal to make it most powerful iPhone ever. Exclusive features of iPhone 4S include Apple's dual-core A5 processor, improved iOS 5 operating system, an 8 MP camera, faster Internet connection, Retina display and completely new features called Siri and iCloud. Iphone 4S comes with 64 GB storage. It has both GSM and CDMA facility which makes it a world phone. Other features include longer battery life, power efficient Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and many other improved features.
Design
The design of iphone 4S is similar to iphone 4, but they have fixed the antenna problem that was very irritating in iphone 4. They have added one more antenna in this design and the mobile can switch between these antennas to ensure better call performance. The design has been to changed to dual-band aerial design to fix the antenna problem. The look of iphone 4S is almost identical with a slight change in the antenna.
The top section of iPhone 4S has a power/lock button, headphone jack and a microphone. The bottom section includes Apple connector and dual speaker.

The right hand side does not have any button, but has a slot for micro SIM card. The left hand side includes volume button and also a camera shutter button.

Processor and Memory
The dual-core A5 chip has made this mobile fastest iPhone ever. It is two times faster than previous iPhone and also enables seven times faster graphics. It is a great phone for gamers. Games run smoothly and they are even more realistic. This processor helps to run graphics intensive application better. It is also power efficient, so helps to maintain longer battery life.
iPhone 4S has 512 MB of DRAM memory.
Operating System
An updated iOs 5 operating system has been used in iPhone 4S. It includes more than 200 new features like notification center, iMessage and many more. This OS has been made available to all from October 12 and can be used in iPhone 3GS and 4 mobile.
Camera
The camera of iPhone 4S is one of the best mobile camera ever. It is a 8 MP camera and a custom lens with a larger f/2.4 aperture. The image quality is better because of the exclusive features like backside illumination sensor, face detection, advanced color accuracy etc. The extra shutter button makes it easier to capture a photo. It is capable of capturing 1080p video at 30fps.
Storage Capacity
The storage capacity of iPhone 4S has been increased. Now iPhone 4s owners can choose between the 16GB, 32GB, and the brand new 64GB internal memory drive options.
Siri
Siri is one of the best addition of iPhone 4S. It is a voice controlled application. You may have used this feature before on other phones, but Siri is far more better than any other voice application. You can literally make conversion with Siri. It will not recognize your every command, but it works most of the time. You can talk with Siri as if you were talking with a human and it will give you right answer most of the time. iCloud
iCloud has made cloud computing available to iPhone users. With this you can store your music, photos, contacts, documents and all other necessary things that you may need. All the changes are updated automatically too, so no hassle for you. iTunes has been also included in iCloud though it may not be available in many countries. Apple is giving 5 GB storage for every user. Uploading might take longer time than expected right now which is a little irritating.
Battery
The battery life of iPhone 4S has also been increased. The power efficient processor will also help to make it last longer. It is capable of 8 hours of 3G talk, 10 hours of video playback and 40 hours of music playback.
So, I must say this is a great phone indeed. You can say that this is the best iPhone till now as expected. The performance is better, Internet is faster, power consumption rate is low, Graphics and camera is superb. Siri and iCloud has made it distinguishable from other smart phone available. ReplyDeleteYes, there seems to be a problem with battery for a few users. Apple is not sure about the cause of this problem. They are collecting data to solve this problem. One solution of this problem is to restore your iOs. I believe Apple will solve this problem as soon as possible.
how much would an iphone cost on average?

Average cost of an iPhone 4S is around $200-$300 with verizona or sprint carrier.
